What is a Rescue Cat?

There are so many ways in which a cat becomes a rescue. The general definition is a cat that, one way or the other, would otherwise have died or been put down had we not intervened.

While we cannot rescue every cat that is in need, we try to rescue as many as we possibly can. All our rescued cats have had all medical attention required. At a minimum, all cats are spayed/neutered and are up to date with shots.

We frequently have wonderful cats available for adoption. All cats in our care have been checked thoroughly by a veterinarian.

All of these cats and kittens have been spared a life of abuse, neglect and most probably, imminent death.
