Once again, the cost of gas and supplies has risen substantially. While we remain committed to keeping our prices at their absolute lowest, in order to ensure that your cats receive the best care possible, it may become necessary in the next month or so to increase prices just a bit. Please keep an eye on this page and we will advise you of any increases or you can call us at 416.876.6369 any time during office hours.

New Rates - effective June 1, 2008

The cost of gas is no mystery to anyone. At the Cat's Pyjamas we strive to keep all our prices reasonable and fair with as few increases over time as possible. Unfortunately, due to the rising gas prices, this has become impossible. The cost of supplies and gas has skyrocketed and we must increase our prices by a small amount. We will continue to strive to provide the best service available without compromise to quality or quantity. We still offer 45 minute visits and some of the least expensive rates in Toronto. Cat Sitters:

1-3 Cats

One visit per day (45 minutes): 20.00
Two visits per day: 35.00
Overnight (if available) 60.00/night

4+ cats to a maximum of 6 (or 4+ litter boxes)

One visit per day (1 hour): 25.00
Two visits per day: 45.00

(these prices include $5 charge for 1 visit / day and $10 charge for 2 visits/day)

Extras:

Key pick up/drop off. If keys need to be picked up prior to your service and then dropped off again after the service is completed, there will be a $7 (each direction) fee for this. However, there is no charge if we are allowed to keep the keys on file. Please remember, we are fully insured for keys.

NOTE: The sitters at The Cat's Pyjamas are not permitted to leave keys behind in mailboxes or in your home on a counter, table etc. We must hear from you with an acknowledgement that you are home before we drop off keys. This is part of our insurance policy and cannot be changed or altered.

parking : it is the client's responsibility to provide parking. If parking is in a public lot the extra fee for this will be added to the invoice.

administer meds: $2.50 per dose
administer injection: $6.00 (i.e. insulin)
subq fluids: $15.00

Water outdoor garden (front or back max time 10 minutes): $5.00
Pick up supplies: $25.00 (plus cost of supplies)
Care of small caged animal (i.e. guinnea pig, small bird): $2.00 (does not include cage cleaning)

Daily Rate:

$17/day/cat ($29/day for two cats)
this rate includes everything. All food is included with the exception of prescription diets. If your cat is on a prescription, we request you bring food when dropping off your cat. We offer special pricing for longer term and multiple cats. Please call for a quote.
